Since 1947, Rishouen Tea Co. has continued its business in Uji, Kyoto, one of Japan’s most famous tea-producing regions.
We deliver traditional Uji tea backed by proven quality, including recognition at the Japan Tea Awards, and produced in facilities certified under the FSSC22000 food safety management system.

Rishouen Tea Shop, founded in 1947, is a company engaged in the retail and wholesale of processed Japanese tea.
We have built a strong network with tea farmers and carefully select high-quality tea from the very stage of tea processing at the factories.
Tea is truly a fresh product. To maintain freshness until it reaches our business partners, we strictly manage storage conditions, including nitrogen gas packaging and refrigerated storage.
In addition, we believe in using our blending expertise to create the best possible tea according to the needs of each retail partner.
