Italy’s Festa della Repubblica

Today we attended an event in celebration of Italy’s Festa della Repubblica holiday! As Rishouen held a tasting two years ago to present its concept of “the marriage of Japanese green tea and cheese” to the previous Consul General of Italy, we had the honor of being invited to the reception that was held in Osaka, in the Nakanoshima Festival Tower. We were able to meet the new Consul General of Italy to Japan, Marco Lombardi, who had heard about Rishouen from his predecessor, and immediately remembered us. He offered his full support and good will toward us, and said he would be pleased to hold a joint event with us some time!
We hope that the many encounters that we made during this day will someday soon lead us to bring our teas to the Italian market!
